Cerebe / Company

AI will write most code, and Cerebe is the quality engine built for that world.

Written to be forwarded: the thesis, what is proven, why now, how it makes money, and how to reach us.

The thesis

Coding agents already write a large share of production code, and the share is rising. They open pull requests faster than any team can read them, and a Copilot approval can now count as the required review.

Who reviews your code shouldn't be who writes it. The quality platform for a world where AI writes most code is independent of the author, gives one clear answer per commit, and leaves evidence behind every finding.

Cerebe is that platform: critics from competing model vendors review every pull request in isolation, fixed rules turn their findings into one signed verdict, and the verdict posts as a GitHub check that can gate the merge.

Why now

The review bottleneck is here.

Agent-written pull requests wait 5.3 times longer for a reviewer.

Agents open pull requests faster than any team can read them.

A Copilot approval can now count as a required review.

Since 1 September 2026, an admin can let Copilot's approval count toward required approvals.

Most pull requests still get no AI review.

In a 2026 sample of 22,000 developers, three in four pull requests had none.

Benchmark

Cerebe caught 79% of known issues; the best of five other AI code reviewers caught 63%.

Serious issues: 82% against 68%. Martian's public Code Review Bench, our own run of the public 50-PR set, September 2026, every tool scored by the same judge. It also comments more; cutting that is current work.

How it makes money

Free for developers. Paid for teams.

Developers use the CLI free, alongside the coding harness they already use. Teams pay for hosted approval on every pull request. Enterprises can run it in their own cloud, with forward-deployed engineering. Forward-deployed engineering is a second line of business: our engineers build AI-native software on the same platform, with Cerebe's approval on every change.

The product

One check, on every pull request.

Install the GitHub App on one repository and every pull request gets a verdict, starting with the next one you open or update. Install the CLI and Cerebe reviews each commit on your workstation, with the same verdict math.
